2. What creative techniques are used to attract my attention?
Rachel used a fake ethnic name, bronzer, her conversion to Islam in high school, and her sexual orientation to gain status and make her way into the position as the chief equity, inclusion, and culture officer for the AFSC. On the left, her picture is in front of the pyramids with a head wrap, nose and labret piercing, and necklace in a middle eastern style. On the right, she holds the new LGBTQ+ flag, she has a Palestinian Keffiyeh, and a necklace with the name Allah.
3. How might different people interpret this message differently than me?
People different from me would see a woman of Middle Eastern descent who is obviously LGBTQ+ friendly or identifies as such. They would see that she is making a political statement and is likely "woke". They would see her as proud of her heritage and background. Those on the right would be infuriated by her keffiyeh, her LGBTQ+ flag as well as her Muslim background.

The viewpoints included are of progressive, "woke", strong, LGBTQ+, multiethnic woman of color. She is political and alliance with while working for the AFSC.
The viewpoints of her actual biological mother and family are left out of this persona. As her (nonwhite) multiethnic background is completely made up.
