Who created this message? This commercial was created by the Kroger Company. Here in the Rocky Mountains, King Soopers is a supermarket brand of Kroger.

What creative techniques are used to attract my attention? To attract viewers attention, this commercial uses bright colors, cartoon characters know as Krogis (Kroger + emoji), and a very catchy song "Low" by Flo Rida, feat. T-Pain which helps with the message of shopping and saving with low prices on products.

How might different people interpret this message differently than me? This commercial might not appeal to anyone who does not have access to technology. Without a device, they will not be able to access the app being advertised and therefore they might not be able to take advantage of the coupons and rewards. The hip-hop music choice may not appeal to an older generation of consumers. Also, if the consumer has had a bad experience with Kroger/King Soopers they might not be engaged with this advertisement message either.

What viewpoints or world views are included or left out of this message? The characters in the commercial represent everyday people- men, women, young, old and people of various ethnicities and cultures in a relatable and fun way. This ad definitely is geared toward people who buy groceries for themselves or their families.

Why is this message being sent? The message being sent by this commercial ad is how you can get low prices on fresh products. They use the tagline "Fresh for everyone." It invites the consumers to use the store app to receive personalized coupons, weekly sales and rewards.
