This ad came up my phone's instagram feed. This product was created by a Peruvian independent online retailer of ecological products made of cardboard and/or wood located in Lima, Peru.

This ad started off on instagram showing a dog peeing in the grass, then if you click learn more you get the picture above. They use referral marketing coupled with a pricing strategy. Share their site and receive a 10% discount on your purchase. Then they show a dog which I think may be an Australian shepherd that appears to be happy and smiling sitting on the grass carton with a speech bubble saying "My ideal bathroom". Below that they show an explanation of how the system works, then how to care and maintain the cartons, finally the 2 options you can purchase. Below that they have an icon so you can contact the seller by whatsapp to make the purchase or ask questions.

Apartment living is harder when you have a pet. People who are less mobile and older may find this to be more attractive than constantly having to take their dog out. This is a business located in Lima, Peru which is a coastal desert and has a population of 10 million people. Most people live in apartments and in many areas there is not a lot of green space. Thus, dog owners in apartments are the perfect target audience for this. As this is an ad on Facebook and Instagram, this is also targeted at people who use social media. The target population who are not included in this message are those who don't read Spanish, don't have dogs, and live in houses with yards.

This message is being sent to gain profit on this product but also open customers up to the other ecological products that they produce with cardboard and wood.
